Fairfield Inn and Aloft Hotels, Los Angeles International Airport – Video Surveillance Design

Triad Consulting & System Design Group (Triad Consulting) was retained by property owner The Rubicon Companies (Rubicon) to provide video surveillance system design at the site of the former Hacienda Hotel, located in El Segundo, California.

The 640 guest room hotel—one of the largest in Los Angeles County—is being rebranded into a 347 guest room and suites Fairfield Inn and a 244 guest room and suites Aloft Hotel.

Triad Consulting met with Rubicon to determine needs and system strategies; decide camera locations to provide optimal video coverage; calculate camera field-of-view requirements and resolution for best-practice camera selection; coordinate equipment space requirements, confirm power and HVAC-load requirements and transmit these requirements to the architectural design team; review final design layout with Rubicon representative and incorporate comments; and develop drawings and specifications for inclusion into project bid package.
